At Eloped, we often get asked, "How fast can an electric moped go?" The answer varies depending on the type of electric moped you choose, but we'll help you figure it out.
Speeds for Class 1 and Class 2
Our electric mopeds come in two different classes, class 1 and class 2, and they have different speed limits. A class 1 electric moped is the faster version and can drive up to 45 km/h.
This makes it perfect for commuting or longer distances on regular roads. To drive a class 1 electric moped you need a driver's license, but it is still a much more convenient alternative than a car.
Class 2 electric mopeds are a little slower, with a maximum speed of 25 km/h. They are an excellent choice for those who want to take it a little slower or ride on bike paths. The advantage of class 2 is that it can be driven without a driver's license, you only need to be 15 years old and have a driver's license, which makes it accessible to more people and provides a nice flow in city traffic.
Freedom and flexibility
No matter which class you choose, our electric mopeds give you the freedom to get around with ease. Our models are designed to be both comfortable and practical, so you can enjoy a smooth and environmentally friendly journey.
For many of our customers, this means saving both time and money on their daily journeys. Since 2007, we at Eloped have been working to offer safe electric vehicles and we strive to make it easy for you to find an electric vehicle that suits your needs.
