The Eloped brand was established in 2007 in Malmö with a clear vision: to offer sustainable and high-quality electric vehicles that improve people's lives by giving them freedom.

Behind Eloped is the engineering firm APe , which has been a significant factor for the company, especially when it comes to technology, the environment and innovation. With decades of experience in engineering and product development, the engineering firm has brought invaluable expertise and technical know-how to Eloped's operations.

By continuously focusing on technological innovation, Eloped has been able to develop lightweight electric vehicles that not only meet but exceed market demands. These technological advances have enabled us to offer products that are both high-performance and long-lasting.

The environment is another key factor for Eloped. With a strong emphasis on sustainability, we strive to minimize our environmental impact by using recyclable materials and energy-efficient production processes. The engineering firm is ISO 14001 and ISO 9001 certified under SIS environmental standards and processes, ensuring that all products meet the highest standards of quality and environmental sustainability.

Our History

1958

Eloped has its origins in
agency business - Engineering Company Allan Persson (APe). It was established as a sales company with the main purpose of serving the Swedish automotive industry.

APe focused on providing high-quality components and technical solutions to car manufacturers in Sweden, which laid the foundation for future expansion.

1965

APe expanded its range and began supplying fuel injection components
to the automotive industry. This period was characterized by technological innovations and improvements in product quality, and APe became a reliable supplier of important automotive components.

1980

A new product line aimed at the railway industry was established. This meant that the company was now not only involved in the automotive industry but also began to supply specialized components and solutions to the railway sector.

1985

The agency business expanded with sales, and APe developed cutting systems for the paper industry. This marked a new era in which the company entered new markets and offered innovative solutions for the paper industry. The cutting system meant optimizing and streamlining production processes, which helped customers improve their productivity and profitability.

1990

The next generation took over the company and began a comprehensive development of the business. During this period, the company transformed from an agency into a
fully-fledged engineering company. This transformation meant that APe began to focus more on its own product development and technical innovations.

2000

We established our own purchasing office in China and began to scale up our operations. Having a presence in China allowed us to streamline the supply chain and reduce costs while ensuring high quality of the components purchased.

2007

The Eloped brand was established with a focus on walking scooters. This new business area was aimed at offering sustainable and user-friendly transport solutions for people with limited mobility. The engineering firm managed Eloped and together with an efficient and climate-safe supply chain and high-quality components, we have since been able to deliver safe and reliable electric vehicles.

With our head office in Malmö and an extensive network of stores and partners in the country, we create freedom for everyone through attractive and sustainable electric vehicles that are ready for the future.

Our vision is that our products should be safe, reliable and always available to you as a customer. We want to be with you all the way from the first sight and all the way through your ownership. That is why we combine high-quality vehicles with a strong service organization to ensure that your needs are always met. Owning and taking care of your walking scooter should not be difficult and that is why we offer service and support throughout Sweden, even at your home address.

OUR FOUR BUILDING BLOCKS FOR A SUSTAINABLE FUTURE WITH THE HELP OF ELECTRIC VEHICLES:

1. Own brand

All products in our range are sold under our own strong brand, Eloped. That is why we have high demands on the entire chain from manufacturer to customer. In order to be able to offer you as a customer the quality you deserve, we at Eloped place great focus on working with our supply chain. Our electric vehicles are produced by suppliers in some of the industry's largest factories and are quality assured by us on site. This is done through our own purchasing office in China, where we have two employees. This quality assurance means that you can feel secure when purchasing an electric vehicle from us.

2. Service & technical expertise

With many years of experience in the industry, Eloped has established a strong service organization for electric vehicles . We have our own well-trained service technicians on site in Malmö and if you wish, we can also perform service at your home address. It is also possible to contact one of our dealers around Sweden for various service matters. All spare parts are in our warehouse in Malmö and the delivery time is therefore normal postal service. Eloped is working to establish new stores around Sweden. We do this partly to get closer to you as a customer but also for a sustainable society with less transport.

3. Smart vehicle solutions

A smarter means of transportation! Eloped creates freedom for everyone through attractive and sustainable electric vehicles for the future. We offer everything from walking scooters for those with limited mobility to electric mopeds and electric bicycles for those who are tired of sitting in traffic jams on the way to work. In line with industrial development, the number of combustion engines in the world has increased. This has led to pollution that negatively affects our world and our cities. At the same time, traffic has increased in cities and accessibility by car is limited. Buying a moped car from Eloped is a smarter transportation choice, both for the environment and to save time.

4. Home delivery

At Eloped, we want to be able to offer you a little more when it comes to service. That's why we take it a step further when we deliver your vehicle. In addition to regular delivery in packaging, you can choose to have your electric vehicle delivered by our skilled service technicians to your home address. You will then receive your electric vehicle fully assembled, fully charged and trained on how to maintain the vehicle.
